Despite some initial concern, because it was the first house built like this, I have to say that by building almost over I’m very happy. The construction system is different from all the other houses in the straw, much easier as well as more flexible so more earthquake-proof and also less expensive. Much easier because the bales mostly have not to be cut (really tiring work), more elastic because there are no structural problems with heavy ironmongery, less expensive because the wooden structure is not xlam. Finally everything is dry so that there is not the danger of wet straw and cause mold. The guys are very helpful.
